A successful installation begins with careful planning and a thorough site inspection. On August 4, 2026, the InstallersPH IT Solutions team traveled from Batangas, where they had completed a previous site inspection, to New Ayala, Alabang, Muntinlupa for another scheduled Starlink assessment. The objective of the visit was to evaluate the property’s layout, determine the most suitable equipment locations, and identify the best cable routing options to ensure a clean, efficient, and reliable Starlink installation.
The team arrived at the residence at 5:00 PM and immediately began coordinating with the homeowner to discuss installation preferences and assess the property’s infrastructure.
Identifying the Best Router Placement.
One of the most important parts of the inspection was determining the ideal location for the Starlink Gen 3 router. During the discussion, the homeowner emphasized that the internet connection was especially important inside the home’s work office, where most online activities and work-related tasks are performed.
Taking this into consideration, the team recommended placing the router inside the office to provide the strongest and most reliable wireless coverage for the area where stable internet connectivity is most critical. This placement also minimizes unnecessary signal loss while maximizing the performance of the Starlink system.
Planning a Clean and Professional Cable Route.
The team also discussed the preferred cable pathway with the homeowner. A clean installation was one of the client’s priorities, so they requested that all Starlink cables remain hidden from view.
Upon inspection, the property was found to have ceiling access that would allow the cable to be routed discreetly through the ceiling. The team also confirmed the presence of a spacious ceiling manhole, making it easier and safer for technicians to access the ceiling space during installation. This allows the cable to be installed neatly while maintaining the home’s interior appearance.
Selecting the Ideal Dish Mounting Location.
Another important aspect of the inspection involved choosing the mounting location for the Starlink dish. After evaluating the property, the homeowner selected an area near the office window as the preferred installation point.
This location offers a practical advantage because it allows the standard 15-meter Starlink cable to comfortably reach the router inside the office without requiring additional cable extensions. The selected mounting area also provides a straightforward cable path, helping ensure an efficient installation process while maintaining optimal system performance.

The site inspection concluded at approximately 6:00 PM, with all necessary information gathered for the upcoming installation. By carefully planning the router placement, cable routing, and dish mounting location in advance, the InstallersPH IT Solutions team has laid the groundwork for a smooth and professional Starlink deployment.
