CCTV Supply and Installation at San Jose Pension House -- Fourth Update.

Introduction

The CCTV installation project at San Jose Pension House has now reached its fourth progress milestone, with major accomplishments completed on-site. Our team from InstallersPH IT Solutions successfully mounted all surveillance cameras across the designated areas of the property. Key locations such as building entrances, hallways, communal spaces, and perimeter zones are now equipped with strategically placed cameras designed to maximize coverage and enhance overall security.

PVC Piping and Cable Routing Underway.

In addition to the camera installations, our technical team also began laying down PVC pipes to route and protect the data cables. This conduit work ensures that all cables are safely enclosed and shielded from potential physical or environmental damage. The piping system has been connected and routed towards the data cabinet, allowing for a clean, secure, and organized cable management layout. The team has also started arranging connections within the data cabinet in preparation for powering up and bringing the CCTV system online.

Preparation for System Activation.

With the physical infrastructure now largely in place, the team initiated the next phase of the setup process. This included organizing power supplies, terminating data cables, and preparing the network connections needed to bring all cameras online. The system was nearly ready for configuration and testing when an unexpected issue was discovered involving the Network Video Recorder (NVR).

Issue Encountered: NVR Login Unavailable.

During setup, the team realized that the login credentials for the NVR were missing and could not be recovered. Without access to the NVR, the configuration of the system, including storage management and live camera feeds, could not be completed. In order to prevent further delays and ensure the system could be brought fully online, the team decided to replace the NVR unit with a new one.

Next Steps: NVR Replacement and Final Setup.

A replacement NVR is now being prepared for installation. Once deployed, our team will proceed with full configuration—connecting the cameras, enabling live viewing, setting up recording schedules, and performing system tests to ensure all components are working as expected. This will also include orienting the client on how to operate and monitor the system effectively.

Conclusion

This fourth progress update marks the completion of all major physical work for the CCTV system at San Jose Pension House. With all cameras installed and PVC piping set up to secure the data lines, the system is nearly operational. The minor setback with the NVR is being swiftly addressed with a replacement unit, paving the way for final commissioning and turnover in the next phase. The team remains on track to deliver a fully secure and fully functional surveillance system for the client.
