CCTV Site Inspection at Brgy. Tabok, Mandaue.

Introduction
Our team recently conducted a CCTV site inspection for a residential property located in Brgy. Tabok, Mandaue City. The homeowner had expressed the need to enhance their security measures, particularly around the exterior and key entry points of the house. The goal was to create a surveillance setup that would provide reliable, continuous monitoring without compromising the home’s aesthetics. This inspection aimed to evaluate the property, determine the best camera placements, and recommend a system that fits the client’s requirements.

Site Assessment.
Upon arrival, our team performed a thorough walkthrough of the property, identifying critical areas that required monitoring. The homeowner requested a total of four CCTV cameras, with coverage areas including the main entrance, backyard, side perimeter, and an interior point near the main hallway. These placements were strategically chosen to maximize visibility and ensure there were no blind spots in the coverage area.
We recommended the use of network cameras (IP cameras) for this project. Compared to traditional analog models, network cameras deliver higher resolution video, offer remote access via smartphones or computers, and allow easy future upgrades. Their ability to connect directly to the local network ensures smooth integration into the home’s existing infrastructure.
Equipment Requirements.
To manage and store the camera footage, we proposed the installation of a Network Video Recorder (NVR). The NVR will serve as the central hub for video storage, playback, and system management. With its high-definition recording capability and user-friendly interface, it will allow the homeowner to easily review footage and monitor the property in real time.
The inspection also involved assessing the availability of power outlets and network access points to ensure efficient cabling. Since the property is residential, neatness and minimal disruption to the home’s design are priorities. Concealed cable routing and weatherproofing measures for outdoor cameras were also discussed to ensure long-term durability and performance.
Proposed Setup
The recommended setup consists of four network cameras strategically installed in the following locations:
Main Entrance – For monitoring visitors and deliveries.
Backyard – To secure the rear portion of the property.
Side Perimeter – For coverage of vulnerable access points.
Main Hallway – To monitor activity inside the home near key entry areas.
Additionally, features such as motion detection alerts and infrared night vision will enhance the system’s overall effectiveness, ensuring reliable monitoring both day and night.
Conclusion
The site inspection at Brgy. Tabok, Mandaue successfully identified the homeowner’s security needs and established a clear plan for implementation. By installing four network cameras connected to a central NVR, the property will benefit from high-quality video monitoring, secure footage storage, and remote viewing capabilities. The combination of strategic camera placement, advanced recording technology, and careful installation planning will help the homeowner achieve a safe, well-protected environment while maintaining the property’s visual appeal. Once completed, the CCTV system will serve as a dependable security solution, offering peace of mind and enhanced safety for the residents.
