CCTV Site Inspection at a Residence in Fairview Village Talisay (2)

Introduction

Installersph IT Solutions received a client request to install eight CCTV cameras at Fairview Village, Talisay City. To begin the assessment, an inspection fee of Php 600 was received, after which the team scheduled an on-site visit to gather accurate details for a complete CCTV system proposal. The team arrived at 4:00 PM and completed the inspection by 4:50 PM, ensuring enough time to thoroughly evaluate the site and consult with the client regarding their security expectations and preferred coverage areas.

Site Inspection and Project Background

Upon arrival, the team observed that the property was still undergoing construction. Workers were actively completing structural sections, including wall partitions, ceiling frameworks, electrical lines, and other interior elements. This stage of development proved advantageous, as the unfinished condition allowed unobstructed access for inspecting possible cable routes, power sources, and ideal mounting locations for the cameras.

During the consultation, the client presented the team with the layout of the property. This guide enabled the team to identify the critical areas requiring surveillance. By reviewing the site plan, the team analyzed high-priority zones such as entry gates, main doors, hallways, parking or outdoor open areas, and interior common spaces. These points typically require focused monitoring to strengthen security, deter potential threats, and ensure visibility of all essential activities within the premises.

Identifying Key Camera Placement Zones

Through assessment of both the physical site and the provided layout, the team determined the optimal placement for a total of eight CCTV unitsfive outdoor cameras and three indoor cameras. Outdoor cameras were designated for the gate, perimeter boundaries, driveway segments, and exterior access points to capture movement from all directions. Indoor units were planned for hallways, living or common areas, and key entry zones inside the house. This distribution ensures wide coverage, proper angle positioning, and clear monitoring of both interior and exterior activities.

Since the site remained under construction, cable pathways could be planned with precision. With ceilings and wall frames still exposed, the team identified strategic routes where cables could be concealed within conduits, avoiding any visible wiring once the property is completed. This approach guarantees a clean installation, compliance with safety standards, and reduced maintenance issues in the future.

Preparation of the CCTV Proposal.

With all necessary details documented, the team is now prepared to create a comprehensive and accurate CCTV installation proposal. The proposal will include camera recommendations—such as weather-resistant bullet cameras for outdoor areas and dome-type cameras for indoor coverage—along with the appropriate NVR system, storage capacity, wiring materials, installation labor, and configuration settings. A projected timeline, cable routing layout, and installation methods will also be outlined.
