On February 23, 2026, our team conducted a Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) of the CCTV system at llaollao SM JMall, located at Upper Ground Level, 165 A. S. Furtuna St, Mandaue, Cebu. The service aimed to ensure that all surveillance equipment remained fully operational, reliable, and capable of providing continuous monitoring for both staff and customers. Through routine inspection and immediate troubleshooting, we reinforced the store’s security system and minimized the risk of future technical issues.

Our team arrived onsite at exactly 10:11 AM and began the troubleshooting process at 10:14 AM after identifying a report of one non-functioning camera. We first conducted a general inspection of the entire CCTV system to evaluate its overall condition and determine whether the problem was isolated or part of a larger system concern. This step ensured that no underlying issues were overlooked.
System Inspection and Troubleshooting.
The preventive maintenance process included a detailed verification of the power supply to confirm stable electrical input to the affected unit. We carefully inspected the cabling and network connections, checking for loose wires, damaged cables, or unstable network links that could interrupt video transmission. Proper cable management and secure connections are critical for uninterrupted CCTV performance, particularly in commercial environments where equipment runs continuously throughout business hours.
After confirming that the hardware connections were intact, we proceeded with system testing to pinpoint the root cause of the malfunction.
