Introduction.

As part of InstallersPH IT Solutions’ commitment to delivering dependable Starlink installation services, our technical team conducted a comprehensive site inspection at Lihim Café in Santo Tomas, Batangas. The purpose of the visit was to assess the location, evaluate the installation requirements, and prepare the site for the client’s existing Starlink Gen 4 system.
Travel and Site Arrival.
On August 4, 2026, the technical team departed from Makati City at approximately 11:05 AM, traveling via bus commute and the Angkas app to reach Lihim Café, located along Brgy. Santo Tomas–Lipa Road, Santo Tomas, Batangas. The team arrived on-site at around 1:00 PM and immediately coordinated with the café staff and their electrician to begin the inspection.
The initial discussion focused on identifying the client’s preferred location for the Starlink Gen 4 router, ensuring that the final placement would provide both accessibility and optimal network performance throughout the establishment.
Assessment of Installation Requirements.
During the inspection, the team carefully evaluated the property’s infrastructure to determine the most efficient installation approach.
One of the first areas assessed was the availability of cable pathways. Fortunately, the café already had an existing cable route that could accommodate the Starlink installation, minimizing the need for additional modifications.
The team also checked for ceiling access or maintenance openings that could be used for cable routing. Since the café was constructed using a cargo van concept, no ceiling manholes were available. This finding required the team to consider alternative cable management methods while maintaining a clean and professional installation.
For the Starlink dish placement, the technical team recommended installing the Starlink Gen 4 dish on the rooftop. This location offers a clear view of the sky, helping maximize satellite signal reception while reducing potential obstructions that could affect internet performance.
Installation Recommendations.
Following the assessment, the team prepared a list of recommended mounting accessories and cable management materials required before the installation can proceed. These include heavy-duty mast clamps for secure mounting, a router power supply bracket, a heavy-duty Starlink mounting stand, cable ties, and adhesive cable clips to ensure a neat and reliable installation.
Since the client already owns a Starlink Gen 4 kit, no additional satellite equipment is required. Once the recommended mounting materials are available, the project can immediately proceed to the installation phase.
The site inspection was successfully completed at approximately 2:30 PM, with all necessary measurements and observations documented for the installation plan.
