RFID Automatic Boom Barrier Supply and Installation for Cherubim Security Agency -- 5th Update.

Introduction
The RFID Automatic Boom Barrier project for Cherubim Security Agency Inc., managed by InstallersPH IT Solutions, has now progressed from planning and structured cabling to partial installation. With the structured cabling already pre-installed from previous updates at the Installersph Company, the focus has shifted to the delivery, inspection, and deployment of the boom barriers themselves. This latest report covers the arrival of the units, site transfer, and the successful installation of the first boom barrier at Avida Towers Riala—where foundational groundwork, conduit runs, and Cat 6 cabling have been integrated into the basement parking entrance.
Arrival Inspection and Site Delivery.
After a long wait, the two RFID boom barrier units finally arrived and were inspected at A.D.G. I.T. Center, located along Lopez Jaena Street in Mandaue City, Cebu. Our team conducted a full inspection upon arrival, checking the components for completeness and functionality. The boom arms, RFID readers, control boards, and supporting hardware were verified to meet project specifications and were confirmed ready for deployment.
Installation Process: Groundwork and Cabling Integration.
The boom barrier units were then transported to Avida Towers Riala, where the installation site is located in the basement parking area managed by Cherubim Security Agency. The day’s scope focused on the entrance lane, where the first boom barrier was successfully installed.
The process began with groundwork preparation—excavating the mounting base and aligning the unit with the parking flow. Following this, PVC piping previously laid during earlier groundwork was connected to the system, guiding power and data lines from the central control zone to the barrier mechanism.
Structured Cat 6 cabling, routed neatly through these conduits, formed the system’s communication backbone—linking the RFID reader to the control board, power source, and future network interface. Cable slack was minimized, signal paths were tested, and each line was securely labeled and tied for long-term serviceability.
While two boom barrier units were inspected and prepared, only one (the entrance barrier) was installed during this deployment phase. Due to time and environmental constraints, the second unit (exit barrier) will be installed in a follow-up session scheduled for a later date.
This phased approach allows the team to focus on quality and system alignment for each installation point without rushing critical tasks like final calibration, electrical termination, and future software linking.
Infrastructure Readiness for System Integration.
The current infrastructure ensures that once powered, the RFID reader will communicate securely and reliably with the control system, allowing for vehicle authentication, automatic boom operation, and remote monitoring via connected software. Additional coordination is ongoing with the system integrator for the deployment of access control software, final configuration, and commissioning tests.
Conclusion
This update marks a key milestone in the ongoing RFID Boom Barrier project at Cherubim Security Agency Inc. The arrival and inspection of the two units at A.D.G. I.T. Center, followed by the successful installation of the entrance barrier at Avida Towers Riala, demonstrate the steady and organized progress of this access control initiative. With Cat 6 cabling and groundwork completed, and the entrance barrier now operational, the team is preparing for the final phase: the installation of the remaining exit barrier. Once installed, the system will provide secure, efficient, and automated control for both entry and exit points of the parking facility—bringing the project closer to full completion.
