Installation and Configuration of LX16 Biometric Attendance System at Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Introduction.

On July 15, 2026, our team successfully carried out the installation, configuration, testing, and client orientation of the LX16 Biometric Attendance System at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, located at 430 Francisco Llamas Street, Punta Princesa, Cebu City. The project aimed to provide the client with a reliable and efficient attendance monitoring solution while ensuring that the system was fully configured and ready for daily operation. Through careful setup and comprehensive user orientation, the team ensured that the client could confidently operate the biometric attendance system after the turnover.

System Installation and Configuration.

Upon arriving at the project site, our team began by inspecting the available power source and network connection to ensure that the installation process would proceed smoothly. During the initial assessment, the client requested that the biometric device not be permanently mounted at that time. Respecting the client’s preference, the LX16 biometric terminal was temporarily placed on a stable surface, allowing the team to complete all necessary configuration and testing activities without affecting system performance.

The biometric attendance device was then powered on and configured according to the client’s operational requirements. Essential settings such as the system date and time, administrator account, and communication parameters were carefully programmed. The attendance management software was also installed and successfully connected to the biometric terminal, establishing stable communication between the device and the software for seamless attendance data synchronization.

Testing and System Verification.

Following the configuration process, comprehensive testing was conducted to verify that the system was functioning correctly. Sample user fingerprints were enrolled into the biometric terminal, and multiple verification tests were performed to evaluate the accuracy of fingerprint recognition and attendance recording.

The team also confirmed that attendance logs were properly synchronized with the attendance management software, ensuring that employee records could be accurately monitored and managed. These verification procedures demonstrated that the LX16 Biometric Attendance System was operating reliably and was capable of meeting the client’s attendance tracking requirements.

Client Orientation and System Turnover.

Before concluding the service, our team conducted a complete hands-on orientation to familiarize the client with the biometric attendance system. The demonstration covered essential functions, including user enrollment, fingerprint verification, attendance log viewing, menu navigation, and the device’s overall operation.

The client was encouraged to personally operate the system throughout the orientation, allowing them to gain practical experience while asking questions about its features and functionality. This interactive approach helped build confidence in using the system and ensured that the client understood its daily operation and basic management procedures.

Conclusion.

The installation, configuration, testing, client orientation, and turnover of the LX16 Biometric Attendance System were successfully completed at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. Although the biometric terminal was not permanently mounted in accordance with the client’s request, all system functions were thoroughly verified and confirmed to be operating correctly. With the successful completion of the orientation and turnover, the client is now prepared to utilize the system effectively once the permanent installation location has been finalized. This project reflects our team’s commitment to delivering dependable biometric attendance solutions while providing clients with the knowledge and support needed for long-term operational success.
