Donation Overview.

During the outreach, our team coordinated with local volunteers to assess the needs and deliver supplies efficiently. Two key components were donated:

  • Dog Food Supplies
We donated bags of dog food suitable for various breeds and sizes, ensuring that nutritional needs were met across a range of animals. The food provided was rich in protein and essential nutrients, aimed at improving the overall health and energy levels of the animals.

  • Wood Materials
Alongside the food supplies, we donated wood that could be used to construct or repair makeshift shelters, feeding stations, and enclosures. These materials will help provide much-needed protection from sun, rain, and outdoor elements.

This dual donation approach ensured that both immediate (food) and long-term (shelter) needs were addressed in a single outreach activity.

On-Site Coordination and Distribution.

Upon arriving in Maro, Guadalupe, our team met with local volunteers and coordinators who facilitated the distribution of dog food and discussed how the wood could best be utilized. Volunteers suggested plans for building basic dog houses and shaded feeding areas using the donated materials.

Our team provided technical suggestions for wood usage, ensuring that the materials would be used effectively and safely for animal shelters. Feedback from local volunteers was highly positive, with many expressing gratitude for both the support and the attention given to their ongoing efforts.

Challenges and Community Impact.

While the logistics of transporting goods were relatively smooth, storage and security for supplies remain a concern for the local team. Despite these challenges, the donation has had an immediate impact—ensuring that dozens of stray dogs are fed and protected.

Conclusion

The dog food and wood donation in Maro, Guadalupe reflects our team’s ongoing commitment to serve local communities and uplift animal welfare efforts. By addressing both nutritional and shelter needs, this initiative contributes to a more compassionate and responsible environment for stray animals. We look forward to continuing similar projects in the future and strengthening partnerships with local animal care groups.
