CCTV Supply and Installation at Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu -- Second Progress Update.

Introduction
Following the urgent mobilization to the client’s warehouse facility in Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu, our team has made steady and substantial progress in the ongoing CCTV supply and installation project. Initiated early Monday, the team responded swiftly from our Mandaue City office, staying on-site for several days to meet critical installation milestones. This second progress update highlights the near-final status of the system, with the core components now fully deployed and operational.
Project Deployment and Current Progress.
All six outdoor IP surveillance cameras have been successfully installed at key monitoring points around the warehouse compound. These cameras were selected for their high-definition resolution, infrared night vision, and weather-resistant design—ensuring reliable performance for round-the-clock perimeter surveillance.
Key accomplishments include:
Mounting and angle alignment of all cameras
Structured Cat6 cable routing to a centralized switch
Backbone data link established via fiber optic connection to the nearby control room
These devices are now fully connected and integrated into the site’s network.
The cameras are connected via Cat6 cabling to a central switch, which is configured to transmit data via a fiber optic line to the nearby control room.
Completed Technical Tasks.
The following major technical components have now been completed:
POE Power Activation
All six IP cameras are now powered through the structured Cat6 cabling using a Power over Ethernet (POE) system. The power lines have been tested and verified, ensuring stable power delivery and data transmission across the entire surveillance network.Fiber Optic Termination
The fiber optic backbone connecting the warehouse to the control room has been successfully terminated and finalized. Media converters are in place to bridge the fiber and Ethernet systems, enabling high-speed and interference-free communication between the camera network and the NVR system.
Next Steps:
With all hardware and infrastructure in place, the only remaining task is to connect and configure the NVR (Network Video Recorder) for remote access. Once the NVR is set up online, the client will be able to monitor all cameras via mobile devices, ensuring real-time visibility and control from anywhere.
Conclusion
This second progress report confirms that the CCTV installation project at Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu is now in its final phase. All camera units, cabling, power systems, and network infrastructure have been fully deployed and tested. Thanks to the team’s responsiveness and focused execution, the system is now ready for its final integration step: enabling online access for remote monitoring.
This project stands as a testament to how modern surveillance solutions—when combined with fiber optic backbone and POE technology—can be efficiently implemented even in remote or industrial environments. Once the NVR is configured for mobile viewing, the client will gain full operational oversight of their warehouse, enhancing security and situational awareness.
