CCTV Supply and Installation at ACS Manufacturing Corporation -- 8th Progress Update.

Introduction
With structured cabling nearly completed and conduit systems fully in place, the CCTV project at ACS Manufacturing Corporation has officially moved into the camera installation phase. This milestone marks a major leap forward as the surveillance system starts to take physical form across key zones of the facility.
As of this update, the entire project is now over 70% complete, with camera hardware installations actively underway in both interior and exterior areas. This phase will soon bring visibility, security, and operational monitoring capabilities to life.
Camera Deployment Underway.
Installation began with high-priority areas that were prepped in earlier stages—zones where the structured cabling and junction box systems were already finalized. Cameras are now being mounted on durable brackets, connected via Cat6 cables routed through flexible conduits and PVC piping, and tested for proper angle, coverage, and connectivity.
For this project, our team is deploying bullet-type CCTV cameras across all designated surveillance points. These cameras are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, offering long-range, directional coverage that suits the monitoring needs of workstations, production lines, entrances, and perimeter zones.
Each camera is being carefully aligned based on the master layout plan to ensure maximum visibility and minimal blind spots, laying the foundation for a reliable and cohesive surveillance system.
Seamless Integration with Cabling Infrastructure.
Because the structured cabling has been pre-installed with accuracy and care, the camera deployment process has been progressing efficiently. Each junction box now serves as a secure power and data node, enabling Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality that reduces the need for separate power supplies and minimizes system clutter.
Technicians are also verifying the connection of each camera to the central Network Video Recorder (NVR) system housed in the server cabinet. Live feeds, recording functions, and remote accessibility are all being tested as cameras are activated one by one.
Project Progress: Over 70% Complete.
With the start of camera installation, the project is now well beyond the halfway mark. Approximately 70% of the total scope has been completed, including:
All major conduit and flexible hose installations
Nearly all junction box placements
Majority of Cat6 cable routing
Initiation of camera mounting and network testing
The remaining work primarily involves final camera deployment in remaining areas, full system configuration, stress testing, and final turnover procedures.
Conclusion
Reaching this phase is a significant achievement in the ongoing CCTV installation project at ACS Manufacturing Corporation. With over 70% of the work complete and camera installation actively in progress, the finish line is clearly in sight.
The combination of durable infrastructure, organized cabling, and precise camera placement is coming together to form a reliable and professional-grade surveillance system; customized to support the security needs of an active industrial environment.
Stay tuned as we approach the final stages of this successful collaboration.
