CCTV SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION AT ACS -- 9TH PROGRESS UPDATE.

Introduction
As the CCTV installation project at ACS Manufacturing Corporation advances, our team has officially entered one of the final stages: the installation phase of the remaining bullet-type cameras inside the warehouse facility. With the majority of conduit and structured cabling completed in previous phases, this stage marks a significant transition as the system begins to take physical form in key areas. As of this update, the project is approximately 80% complete—reflecting consistent progress toward a complete and integrated surveillance solution.
This phase focuses heavily on high-mounted camera installations, cable terminations, and continued network infrastructure work within the expansive warehouse environment.
Ongoing Camera Installation in Elevated Areas
This week, the installation of bullet-type CCTV cameras continued across various sections of the warehouse. Mounted high along the facility’s walls, these cameras are being positioned to provide broad and unobstructed coverage of production zones, storage spaces, and high-traffic areas.
Due to the height of these mounting points, installation work requires the use of elevated access equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols. Safety officers are on-site to oversee lift operations and ensure proper compliance during elevated tasks. Each camera unit is aligned based on the master surveillance layout, which was developed collaboratively with ACS staff to ensure site-specific coverage goals are met.
These bullet cameras are selected for their durability and effectiveness in long-range, directional monitoring—making them ideal for industrial environments with large floor spaces and tall ceilings. Once installed, each camera undergoes initial alignment checks to ensure field-of-view accuracy and image clarity, even under varying warehouse lighting conditions.
Structured Cabling and System Continuity
In parallel with camera deployment, the team continues with structured cabling work, particularly in areas requiring extended cable runs. Flexible conduits and PVC piping are being used to route Cat6 Ethernet cables from camera points to nearby junction boxes and toward the central system.
Cables are being secured along structural elements such as beams and walls, maintaining a clean and organized cabling system that aligns with site safety requirements. Labeling and documentation are being performed as each cable is laid, allowing for streamlined identification and future system maintenance. Each run is tested using professional-grade continuity and signal testing tools to guarantee performance.
The system design utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying connections by delivering both power and data through a single cable. This configuration reduces the need for separate power lines, improves installation speed, and enhances overall system efficiency.
Preparing for Final Integration
As camera units continue to be installed, the team is simultaneously preparing for the integration phase. This will include connecting each feed to the Network Video Recorder (NVR), testing image clarity, adjusting camera angles, and configuring basic software functions such as motion detection and recording schedules.
Once fully connected, the NVR will support centralized recording and remote monitoring functions for ACS’s security personnel. These capabilities will allow real-time observation and quick review of recorded footage when needed.
Conclusion
With camera installations ongoing and cable infrastructure nearing completion, the CCTV system at ACS Manufacturing Corporation is progressing steadily. The project currently stands at approximately 77–80% completion and continues to move forward as planned.
This phase highlights the team’s commitment to precision, safety, and long-term system performance. As we approach the final stretch, our focus will shift toward system testing, NVR configuration, and final commissioning.
