CCTV SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION AT ACS -- 11TH PROGRESS UPDATE.

Introduction

The CCTV supply and installation project at ACS Manufacturing Corporation has reached a highly anticipated milestone—a full test run of the surveillance system. With all bullet-type cameras installed, Cat6 cabling in place, and the network infrastructure fully assembled, our team conducted a live demonstration of the system’s functionality, using the NVR and PoE switch setup connected to a TV monitor.

This successful trial marks the transition into the final stretch of the project, showcasing the power and reliability of the surveillance infrastructure we’ve built over the past several weeks.

Live System Demonstration with NVR, PoE Switch, and TV Output.

To confirm full operational readiness, our team connected the Network Video Recorder (NVR) and PoE switch to a designated TV monitor within the server room. This allowed both our team and ACS staff to observe the real-time feed from the installed bullet cameras throughout the warehouse.

The demonstration covered multiple camera views simultaneously, showing clear, high-resolution footage from key warehouse locations including:

  • Entry and exit points

  • Production lines

  • Storage zones

  • Aisles and walkways

Each camera feed displayed stable connectivity, clean image quality, and proper field-of-view alignment as per the approved layout plan. The live feed showcased the advantages of high-mounted bullet cameras and structured cabling done with precision.

System Features and Functionality Previewed.

During the demo, technicians walked the client through the system’s core functions, including:

  • Real-time multi-channel monitoring

  • Motion detection zones

  • Playback and video retrieval from recorded footage

  • Basic camera controls and interface navigation

  • Remote access capabilities (pre-configured for future activation)

This preview gave the client a firsthand experience of how their new surveillance system will operate on a day-to-day basis, and how simple it is to manage and review camera footage.

The system’s Power over Ethernet (PoE) design was also demonstrated in action—each camera powered and transmitting data through a single Cat6 line connected directly to the PoE switch. This streamlined approach minimizes clutter, reduces setup time, and improves long-term reliability.

Conclusion

The successful test run and system demonstration represents a major validation of the installation quality and functionality of the CCTV system at ACS Manufacturing Corporation. With the NVR, PoE switch, and all camera feeds operating smoothly and clearly displayed on the TV monitor, the surveillance system has officially come to life.

As we approach final commissioning, only minor software calibration, remote access configuration, and system documentation remain. This milestone is a proud moment for our team and a preview of the dependable security solution ACS can rely on moving forward.

Stay tuned for the final update, where we wrap up and formally hand over the completed system to the client.
