CCTV Site Inspection at ROZ Laboratories Inc.

Our technical team from InstallersPH IT Solutions conducted a detailed on-site walkthrough to evaluate the building layout, identify optimal camera placement points, and plan structured cabling routes that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
Client Background
ROZ Laboratories Inc. is a specialized facility engaged in scientific processes and research-based work. Given the sensitive nature of their operations and the value of equipment and intellectual property, the management recognized the importance of installing a high-quality CCTV system that offers clear surveillance coverage both inside and outside the premises.
The client approached InstallersPH to deliver a system that not only meets their current monitoring needs but is also flexible for future scaling or integration with additional security tools.
First Progress Scope: Visual Assessment and System Planning.
During the site inspection, the team proposed the installation of a 14-camera setup consisting of:
7 Indoor Bullet Cameras – for monitoring internal hallways, labs, and workspace areas
7 Outdoor Dome Cameras – positioned to capture entryways, perimeters, and parking zones
These camera types were selected for their suitability in different environments—bullet cameras for clear indoor footage with fixed positioning, and dome cameras for durable, weather-resistant surveillance with wide-angle capabilities outdoors.
To support this configuration, the following devices were assessed and included in the system planning:
16-Channel NVR (Network Video Recorder) – for centralized, high-capacity video storage
16-Port POE (Power over Ethernet) Switch – to streamline power and data transmission for all connected cameras
ROZ Laboratories will provide the necessary cables, while the InstallersPH team will handle all cable pulling, management, and terminations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and minimal disruption to lab operations.
Technology Consideration (Preliminary).
The selected system architecture is designed for clarity, efficiency, and control. By using IP cameras connected to a single NVR, ROZ Laboratories can enjoy features such as:

Remote viewing via mobile or desktop platforms
Scalable design for future camera additions or sensor integrations
The use of POE infrastructure also allows for simpler cable routing, fewer power adapters, and cleaner installations.
Next Steps
A formal proposal will be drafted and submitted to ROZ Laboratories Inc., detailing the proposed camera placements, wiring responsibilities, and necessary hardware. Once approved, the project will proceed with the structured cabling phase, followed by mounting of cameras and configuration of the recording system.
