CCTV Site Inspection at Allegro Beverage.

Introduction.

A comprehensive surveillance strategy is the first line of defense for any commercial facility, ensuring both asset protection and operational transparency. On March 23, 2026, our technical team conducted a thorough site inspection at Allegro Beverage Corporation, located along A.S. Fortuna St., Banilad, Mandaue City. The primary objective was to evaluate the existing security infrastructure and identify critical gaps in coverage. By assessing the current hardware and physical layout of the premises, we aimed to design a modernized surveillance solution tailored to the specific architectural demands of the building.

Arrival and Initial Assessment.

The inspection commenced at 10:02 AM, beginning with a walkthrough of the facility’s interior and exterior perimeters. Our initial assessment revealed that the current security measures relied on a wireless system, which presented several operational challenges. We noted significant blind spots in high-traffic areas and limited remote access capabilities, which hindered the efficiency of real-time monitoring. Furthermore, the building’s fixed structure and established layout presented unique obstacles for traditional cable routing, requiring a strategic approach to ensure full coverage without compromising the integrity of the architecture.

Observations and Technical Gaps.

During the hour-long evaluation, several technical limitations were identified. The existing wireless setup, while convenient for installation, lacked the stability and high-bandwidth performance required for a multi-camera environment. We also observed that several key zones remained entirely unmonitored, leaving the facility vulnerable to security lapses. The “fixed” nature of the building’s structural elements—such as reinforced walls and ceiling types—meant that any future system would need a highly specialized installation plan to navigate these physical constraints effectively.

Proposed Security Solution.

To address these vulnerabilities, our team proposed a transition to a robust, wired CCTV system. Unlike the current setup, a wired network ensures stable, interference-free video transmission across the entire facility. Our recommendation includes a comprehensive hardware overhaul consisting of 26 CCTV units: 21 dome cameras for discreet indoor monitoring and 5 bullet cameras for high-visibility outdoor surveillance. To support this expanded network, we proposed the integration of a dedicated Network Video Recorder (NVR), professional-grade HDD storage, a central monitor, and a secure data cabinet to house the core networking equipment.
