CCTV Supply and Installation at Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu -- Final Progress Update.

Introduction
Our team has officially wrapped up the CCTV supply and installation project at Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu. This marks the final progress update in a multi-phase effort to deliver a fully functional and professionally configured surveillance system. The last visit focused on verifying system performance, addressing a networking issue, and formally turning over the system to the client.
From Testing to Troubleshooting.
Following the cable fault we discovered and resolved during the second progress update, our team returned to the site for a comprehensive round of testing and validation. This phase ensured that all components—from power to camera feeds—were functioning exactly as intended.
Each CCTV camera was re-checked, and their feeds appeared clearly on the monitor. With all hardware verified and the setup intact, the physical side of the system was confirmed to be fully operational. However, during this validation process, a new issue emerged—not with the wiring, but with the network configuration.
Resolving the NVR Offline Status.
Although all video feeds were clearly visible on the monitor, the Network Video Recorder (NVR) interface still showed the cameras as offline. This discrepancy pointed to a communication issue within the system’s network. Since the cameras were functioning and correctly connected, our team suspected a configuration mismatch.
Upon further inspection, we identified the root cause: it was the NVR’s IP address that did not match the router’s IP range. In IP-based CCTV systems, the NVR must be on the same subnet as the router in order to properly communicate with connected cameras.
To fix this, we reconfigured the NVR’s IP settings to align with the router’s network. Once the adjustment was made, the NVR successfully recognized all cameras as online. A final round of system testing followed, confirming stable recording, smooth network communication, and live viewing functionality across the board.
Final Turnover and Client Handover.
With all technical issues resolved and the system running smoothly, we proceeded to turn over the CCTV system to the client. Our team conducted a hands-on demo, showing the client how to navigate the NVR, access live feeds, and retrieve recorded footage. This session ensured that the client was comfortable operating the system independently.
To formally close the project, completion documents were signed, acknowledging the successful handover and the client’s satisfaction with the installation. This final step marked the culmination of our team’s dedication from initial setup to full deployment.
Why This Final Update Matters.
This final progress update highlights more than just the physical completion of a project—it showcases the importance of deep technical knowledge, attention to detail, and thorough system testing. Network-based surveillance isn’t just about installing cameras; it also demands precise configuration, especially when integrating with routers, NVRs, and custom IP setups.
Our team’s ability to diagnose and resolve issues—whether hardware-related or software-level—ensures that clients receive not only a functional system but also one they can trust in day-to-day operations.
Conclusion
From diagnosing cable faults to resolving advanced network issues, and finally turning over the system to the client with a complete walkthrough, our team has completed another successful project in Dunggoan, Danao, Cebu. The client now has a fully operational CCTV system they can rely on for safety and peace of mind.
