IT Support Site Inspection at Pal-Watson Apartments.

Introduction.

In today’s digital age, a stable internet connection is crucial for both personal and professional activities. On March 2, 2026, our team conducted an on-site inspection in Pajo, Lapu-Lapu to address connectivity concerns reported by users at a client location. The main issues involved users connecting to the WiFi network but experiencing no internet access, and others reporting slow internet speeds. This inspection aimed to identify the root cause and provide recommendations for restoring reliable connectivity.

Initial Assessment.

We arrived at the client site in Pajo, Lapu-Lapu at 1:45 PM to investigate the reported issues. Upon arrival, we noted that the WiFi router was powered on and actively broadcasting its network signal. Devices were able to detect and connect to the WiFi without difficulty, confirming that the router’s wireless function was operational. However, despite the successful connections, several users were unable to access the internet, while others experienced slower-than-expected speeds.

Initial Process.

The inspection focused on verifying the status of the router and its indicator lights. All indicators showed that the router was functioning, with no visible hardware errors or warning signals. While this confirmed that the device was active and transmitting a WiFi signal, it did not resolve the connectivity problems reported by users. Our assessment highlighted that the router was capable of broadcasting the network but might have internal issues affecting internet access and speed for certain devices.

Identified Issues.

The main concern identified was the inconsistency in internet access among connected devices. Some users could connect but had no internet access, indicating a potential hardware failure or internal configuration problem. Additionally, other users experienced slow connectivity, which could be related to signal distribution issues or bandwidth limitations of the existing router. Since the inspection was limited to verifying the router’s status, a deeper diagnostic was recommended to fully assess the device’s internal performance and limitations.

Recommendation.

Based on our findings, the most effective solution to ensure uninterrupted internet service for all users is the replacement of the existing WiFi router. Installing a new, more reliable router would address both the issue of devices failing to access the internet and improve overall connection speeds. Regular maintenance and periodic inspections are also recommended to prevent similar issues in the future and maintain consistent network performance.

Conclusion.

Reliable WiFi connectivity is essential for productivity, communication, and daily operations. The inspection conducted in Pajo, Lapu-Lapu on March 2, 2026, revealed that while the router was operational, it was not providing stable internet access to all users. To resolve these issues, replacing the router is strongly advised. By implementing this recommendation, the client can ensure a seamless and dependable internet experience, supporting both current and future connectivity needs.
