As part of the assessment, the team discovered that the Starlink Mini had not yet been configured with a secure Wi-Fi password. The network remained open because neither the homeowner nor the household staff was familiar with the initial setup and configuration process.

The homeowner also expressed the desire to extend the Starlink internet connection throughout the entire house. After evaluating the property, the technical team explained that the built-in Wi-Fi capability of the Starlink Mini alone would not be sufficient to provide reliable coverage across the entire residence. To achieve whole-home connectivity, additional mesh networking devices would be required to distribute the wireless signal efficiently.

The team also inspected the property’s existing internet infrastructure and found that the house already had a Google Home mesh network connected to a PLDT internet service. While the existing mesh system could technically provide wider wireless coverage, reconfiguring it exclusively for the Starlink Mini would disconnect the current PLDT network, which was not recommended based on the client’s requirements.
