Introduction.
The supply and installation of a CCTV surveillance system at Carcar City in Cebu was successfully completed over a two-day period, demonstrating efficiency, technical expertise, and proper coordination. The project covered both the provision of high-quality equipment and the full installation and configuration of the system to ensure reliable security monitoring.
Day 1 Activities.
On Day 1, the team departed at around 12:00 PM and arrived on-site at approximately 3:00 PM. Despite the limited working window, the team immediately began the installation process. The project involved supplying four CCTV cameras along with a Network Video Recorder (NVR). By the end of the day at 6:00 PM, two CCTV units had already been installed and mounted in their designated areas. Due to time constraints, the remaining units were scheduled for continuation the next day.
Equipment Details.
The CCTV units supplied included one dome-type camera and three bullet-type cameras, all equipped with full-color imaging and built-in audio capability. These features allow for clear video capture and sound recording, even in low-light environments. The system provided was from Dahua Technology, a trusted brand known for durable and high-performance surveillance solutions.
Day 2 Activities.
On Day 2, the team resumed work and completed the installation of the remaining CCTV units. After all cameras were securely mounted, the focus shifted to system integration and configuration. The technicians set up the NVR, connected all cameras, and ensured that each unit was properly detected and functioning within the system. Careful testing was conducted to confirm video clarity, audio recording, and stable connectivity.
Remote Access Setup.
An important part of the installation was enabling remote viewing access. The team configured the system so the client could monitor the CCTV cameras through both mobile phones and laptops. This allows real-time viewing and playback of recorded footage anytime and anywhere, providing added convenience and improved security management.
Turnover and Client Orientation.
After completing the setup, the system underwent final testing to ensure full functionality. Once confirmed, the project was officially turned over to the client. A brief orientation was also provided, guiding the client on how to operate the system, access recordings, and manage basic settings on the NVR.
Conclusion.
Overall, the supply and installation project was completed efficiently within two days. The combination of quality equipment, proper installation, and user-friendly configuration resulted in a fully operational CCTV system. This upgrade significantly enhances the security of Car² City, offering dependable surveillance and peace of mind for the client.
