Overview
On July 30, 2026, the technical team of InstallersPH IT Solutions conducted a comprehensive site inspection at Cebu Pensione Plaza following reports of network issues affecting the property’s Wi-Fi access point and internet connectivity. The objective of the inspection was to identify the root cause of the problem, assess the condition of the existing network infrastructure, and recommend the appropriate solutions to restore reliable connectivity.
A stable network is essential for hotels and commercial establishments, as it supports daily operations and enhances the overall guest experience. With internet access being one of the most valued services, addressing connectivity concerns promptly is critical to maintaining quality service.
Identifying the Root Cause
During the inspection, the technical team performed a detailed assessment of the property’s network equipment and internet connection. It was discovered that the wireless access point could not be managed because administrator access to the cloud management platform was unavailable. Without the required administrator credentials, configuration changes, firmware updates, and remote troubleshooting could not be performed.
Further investigation also revealed internet connectivity errors that prevented the access point from operating properly. These issues resulted in unstable Wi-Fi service, affecting both staff and guests who rely on the property’s wireless network.
Impact on the Vouchering System
The inspection also determined that the network issues had a direct impact on the property’s vouchering system. Since the platform depends on a stable internet connection and properly configured network equipment, the connectivity problems prevented the system from functioning as intended.
As a result, users were unable to access the internet through the voucher authentication process, reducing the efficiency of the guest Wi-Fi service. Resolving the network issue is necessary before the vouchering system can be restored to normal operation.
Recommended Solutions
Based on the findings, the technical team recommended several corrective actions to fully restore the network infrastructure.
The first priority is to obtain administrator access to the cloud management platform. This will allow the team to configure and manage the wireless access point without restrictions.
Once administrator access is available, the access point and Wi-Fi settings will be reconfigured to ensure proper communication with the network. The internet connection will also be reviewed and adjusted as necessary to eliminate the existing connectivity errors.
After the network has been stabilized, the vouchering system will be reconfigured to match the updated network settings. Finally, comprehensive testing will be conducted on all connected devices to verify stable internet connectivity, proper Wi-Fi coverage, and the successful operation of the vouchering system.
Current Project Status
The project is currently ongoing as the team coordinates with the client to obtain administrator access to the cloud management platform. This is an essential step before the recommended network reconfiguration can begin.
Once access has been secured, the technical team will proceed with the necessary system adjustments and perform end-to-end testing to ensure all network services are operating efficiently.
