Field Service Overview.
InstallersPH IT Solutions conducted a comprehensive site inspection at a residential property to assess the existing network infrastructure and determine the requirements for a more reliable and efficient connectivity solution. The inspection focused on evaluating the current setup, identifying areas that require improvement, and planning the appropriate network equipment and installation requirements.
The assessment is an important first step in developing a network system that can provide better wireless coverage, improved stability, organized equipment placement, and easier maintenance.
Existing Network Assessment.
During the site inspection, the technical team assessed the existing network infrastructure, including the available equipment locations, wiring routes, and areas requiring improved connectivity. The team also considered the property’s layout to determine suitable locations for the proposed network components.
A proper assessment allows the installation plan to be developed based on the actual site conditions. It also helps identify potential installation challenges before the equipment and cabling work begins.
Proposed Access Point Installation.
The proposed network improvement includes the installation of two (2) Access Points. These devices are intended to improve wireless coverage and provide more consistent connectivity throughout the required areas.
Proper Access Point placement is essential to achieving effective Wi-Fi coverage. The final locations will be selected based on the property’s layout and the areas requiring reliable wireless connectivity.
The installation will also include proper configuration and testing to ensure that the Access Points operate correctly as part of the overall network infrastructure.
Load Balancer Installation.
A Load Balancer is also included in the proposed network setup. This equipment is intended to help manage network traffic and improve the overall stability and efficiency of the connection.
Proper network traffic management can help distribute connectivity more effectively and support a more reliable network experience. The Load Balancer will be integrated into the network setup and tested after installation.
Data Cabinet with Cooling Fan.
The proposed installation also includes one (1) data cabinet with a cooling fan. The cabinet will provide a centralized and organized location for the network equipment.
Proper equipment organization is important for maintaining a professional network infrastructure. The cooling fan will support airflow within the cabinet, helping maintain suitable operating conditions for the installed equipment.
The cabinet will also provide a structured space that can accommodate future equipment or network expansion when required.
Structured Wiring and Cable Management.
Proper network wiring will form an important part of the installation. The work will include cable routing, labeling, and cable management to maintain a clean and organized setup.
Clearly labeled and properly routed cables make it easier for technicians to identify connections during maintenance or troubleshooting. Organized wiring also reduces unnecessary cable clutter and contributes to a more professional installation.
Testing and System Verification.
After the proposed installation is completed, all equipment, network connections, and wiring will be thoroughly checked and tested. This process will help verify that the Access Points, Load Balancer, and other network components are properly connected and functioning as intended.
Testing will also help identify and address any connectivity or configuration issues before the system is considered fully operational.
