CCTV & Structured Cabling Supply and Installation at Punched Coffee, Johndorf Tower — 5th progress Update.

Introduction.

The fifth progress update for the CCTV and structured cabling supply and installation at Punched Coffee, located in Johndorf Tower, highlights key advancements in the project as it moves closer to completion. Despite the site still being under construction, the team continues to coordinate closely with the client and construction workers to ensure seamless progress while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Continuation of Cable Wirings and Pipelining

The team continued with the pipelining and pulling of Cat6 cables throughout the premises. Each run was carefully laid within the designated conduits to ensure proper organization and long-term reliability. By maintaining standard bend ratios and securely fastening cables, the team ensured that the structured cabling will support stable connectivity for CCTV cameras, access points, and other network devices. This stage reinforces the backbone of the project’s network infrastructure.

Installation of Data Cabinet

A major milestone in this phase was the installation of the data cabinet. Positioned at the designated network hub, the cabinet will serve as the central point for cable management, terminations, and housing of active equipment. Proper installation and grounding were prioritized to ensure safety, organization, and scalability for future system expansions. The cabinet setup paves the way for upcoming terminations and structured testing.

Fiber Optic Installation

In addition to copper cabling, the team also began the installation of fiber optic lines. This included running fiber cables through prepared pathways and carefully managing their routing to avoid unnecessary bends or stress. The fiber optic backbone is essential to support high-speed data transmission and will integrate seamlessly with the structured cabling and CCTV system. The completion of this stage enhances the overall network infrastructure by providing faster, more reliable connectivity.

Conclusion.

The fifth progress update reflects steady progress as the project enters its advanced stages. With cable pipelining and pulling continued, the installation of the data cabinet completed, and fiber optic cabling underway, the foundation for a robust and future-ready network is being established. As Punched Coffee at Johndorf Tower remains under construction, the team continues to adapt its workflow to site conditions, ensuring that the CCTV and structured cabling system will be fully operational and optimized upon project completion.
