CCTV support at Bridge Culture -- Final update.

Introduction
Following our recent inspection at Bridge Culture IT Tower in Kasambagan, Cebu City, our team returned on-site to implement the corrective action needed to restore full functionality to the client’s CCTV surveillance system. This final update documents the resolution of the display issue, highlighting the technical root cause and the steps taken to bring the system back to operational status.
Root Cause Identified.
During the initial inspection, we identified that the cameras themselves were still functional and that signal transmission was being disrupted. While the cabling was originally suspected to be the primary issue, further diagnostic testing during the follow-up revealed a different culprit: a failing power supply unit.
The output voltage of the power supply—originally intended to deliver a stable 12V DC—was only producing around 4 volts, far below the required threshold to power the CCTV cameras effectively. This voltage drop was the key factor causing the loss of display across the system.
Corrective Action and Restoration.
With precision and care, our technical team proceeded to replace the faulty power supply. The installation of a new 12V DC power supply was executed following proper electrical and system safety standards. Once the replacement was complete, we carefully reconnected all associated lines and ensured the power unit was mounted back into its original configuration without disrupting the existing setup.
Each camera was then tested individually to confirm visual display, power stability, and signal output. We’re pleased to report that all CCTV units are now fully functional, with clear and uninterrupted live feeds being transmitted to the client’s monitoring stations.
Client Turnover and Verification.
After final testing, the client was given a full briefing and demonstration of the restored system. Voltage levels were shown to be stable, and the monitoring setup was verified for consistency across all channels. The client expressed satisfaction with the outcome and appreciated the efficient, non-invasive approach that preserved their existing equipment while resolving the root issue.
Conclusion
This final update underscores the value of precise technical diagnostics and measured intervention. Instead of recommending a complete overhaul, our team addressed the specific point of failure—a degraded power supply—and restored full surveillance capability in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
