Dish Installation and Roof Access.
The installation process began with the placement of the Starlink satellite dish on the building’s rooftop. The location was carefully selected to ensure an unobstructed view of the sky, which is essential for optimal satellite signal reception. After confirming the line of sight and signal availability, the dish was securely mounted using weather-resistant hardware and aligned to the satellite network.
All necessary rooftop safety protocols were observed during the installation, and proper anchoring ensured that the dish remained stable under various weather conditions.
Data Cabinet Integration and System Link.
Once the dish installation was completed, the team proceeded with cable routing from the rooftop to the designated data cabinet inside the Chicky Oink office. The cable path was chosen to minimize exposure and maintain both performance and aesthetic considerations. PVC conduits were used where necessary to protect the cable during its descent from the roof to the internal network zone.
The Starlink router was then connected directly to the data cabinet, integrating the system with Chicky Oink’s existing internal network infrastructure which were previously provided by InstallarsPH. All hardware connections were tested for signal strength, stability, and performance.
System Testing and Activation.
Following the physical installation, the team performed a full system test to ensure the Starlink connection was operational. Internet speeds, latency, and signal consistency were evaluated and confirmed to meet expected performance benchmarks.
Once verified, the system was handed over to the client with a basic walkthrough of Starlink functionality, including routine maintenance tips, connection status checks, and guidance on device usage and network management.
