InstallersPH IT Solutions Team Building 2025.

Introduction
In today’s digitally driven work culture, where tasks are often carried out behind screens and communication is heavily dependent on emails and chat threads, the importance of face-to-face connection cannot be overstated. To reaffirm this value, InstallersPH IT Solutions organized a two-day Team Building Event held from May 24 to May 25, 2025, at the beautiful seaside sanctuary of Isla Estan, located in Bitoon, Dumanjug, Cebu. This event was not just an escape from our regular routines—it was a celebration of unity, resilience, and the ever-growing spirit of the InstallersPH family.

Day 1: May 24, 2025 – The Adventure Begins.
6:00 AM – Gathering and Departure
With sleepy eyes but excited hearts, the InstallersPH team assembled at the company headquarters by 6:00 AM sharp. Bags were packed, matching shirts were worn with pride, and the contagious energy of anticipation was felt all around. Laughter echoed even before the journey began—some shared breakfast bites, others took early selfies, while the rest prepared playlists to set the mood during the trip.
By 6:30 AM, everyone boarded the vans, and the convoy rolled out, cruising along the scenic routes of Cebu. Onboard, jokes flew around like confetti, and a spontaneous karaoke showdown made the ride feel like a mobile party. Though the journey lasted nearly four hours, the camaraderie made time fly.
10:15 AM – Arrival at Isla Estan, Bitoon, Dumanjug
Upon arriving at Isla Estan, we were immediately greeted by the gentle sea breeze and the calming whispers of the ocean. The beachfront resort—surrounded by lush greenery and coastal charm—was the perfect backdrop for our weekend retreat. After a quick check-in and welcome drinks courtesy of the hospitable staff, everyone gathered under the central gazebo for a formal orientation.
The team was officially welcomed by the management, who emphasized the theme of the event: “Stronger Together.” The goal? Build deeper connections, celebrate individual and team successes, and pave the way for more effective collaboration moving forward.
Midday Activities: Let the Games Begin!
11:30 AM – Icebreakers and Team Division
With enthusiasm in full swing, the organizers led a series of icebreakers that quickly transformed our professional rapport into warm friendships. Names, departments, and designations faded into the background as laughter took over.
12:30 PM – Lunch by the Shore
As stomachs growled, a hearty Filipino lunch buffet was served—complete with grilled seafood, lechon belly, chicken barbecue, and tropical fruits. Plates were full and conversations even more so, as team members bonded over shared interests and stories from both work and life.
Afternoon: Team Challenges and Water Fun.
2:00 PM – Team Building Games
The heat didn’t stop us from giving our best in the team building games prepared by the HR and events committee. Each activity was designed to promote laughter, creativity, cooperation, and friendly competition—bringing out both the strategy and silliness in every team member.
Some of the games included:
- Fill the Bottle with Sea Water (T-Shirt Edition) – where teams raced to fill a bottle using nothing but a t-shirt to soak and squeeze seawater.
- Wear and Pass the T-Shirt Relay – a hilarious game where teammates had to wear a soaked shirt and pass it over to the next player from behind without turning around.
- Flour Plate Challenge – using playing cards, participants scooped and transferred flour from one plate to another under time pressure.
- Stop Dance – a classic party favorite that had everyone dancing with wild energy and freezing in funny poses the moment the music stopped.
- Siopao, Siomai, Suman – a twist on the popular game “Hep Hep Hooray,” where players had to act quickly and say the correct food item in rhythm, or risk hilarious elimination.
Every laugh, stumble, and cheer echoed across the beach—proof that the games weren’t just about winning but about creating moments that would last far beyond the weekend.
4:30 PM – Water Break and Beach Leisure
With all challenges completed, it was time to relax. Some headed for a swim in the beach’s clear waters, others played frisbee or beach volleyball, and a few simply lay back in hammocks, letting the waves wash away work stress. A drone camera captured sweeping panoramic shots of the group, and spontaneous dance-offs and TikTok videos were filmed on the sand.
Evening Program: Talent, Laughter, and Celebration.
6:30 PM – Sunset Dinner
Dinner was served al fresco, set under string lights with the view of a breathtaking sunset over the sea. Grilled squid, pancit, kaldereta, and spaghetti were among the favorites. Toasts were made—some humorous, some heartfelt—as leaders acknowledged individual and team contributions that made the company stronger over the past year.
8:00 PM – Talent Show & Campfire Night
The evening continued with a Talent Show where employees surprised everyone with their hidden skills—acoustic performances, spoken word poetry, hilarious skits, and even a choreographed group dance from the newest batch of hires.
The highlight? A comedic sketch about everyday life in IT support, cleverly delivered with inside jokes only IT professionals would appreciate.
As the laughter simmered down, everyone gathered for a campfire session by the beach. Stories of resilience, teamwork, and unexpected wins were shared, followed by a marshmallow roast and mellow acoustic sing-alongs.
Day 2: May 25, 2025 – Bonding and Reflection.
6:00 AM – Sunrise Beach Walk and Stretching
Early risers met for a refreshing sunrise beach walk, joined by a light stretching and breathing session led by one of our fitness-enthusiast colleagues. It was a peaceful time to reflect on the day before and appreciate the beauty around us—and within the team.
7:00 AM – Breakfast Buffet
A classic Filipino breakfast awaited—longganisa, scrambled eggs, garlic rice, fresh fruits, and hot chocolate. Laughter carried from table to table as conversations from the previous night continued. By now, it was clear that barriers had fallen, and new friendships had blossomed.
Final Segment: Recognition and Group Affirmation.
9:00 AM – Awards and Recognition
As the morning sun cast a golden glow over Isla Estan, the team decided to make the most of the high tide by going in for one last swim. With the water at its perfect level and the breeze still cool, everyone jumped in to enjoy the refreshing embrace of the sea one more time.
Laughter echoed across the shore as teammates splashed around, floated on the gentle waves, and took in the serene beauty of Bitoon, Dumanjug. It was a peaceful, joyful moment—no games, no structure—just pure relaxation and bonding before the journey home.
This final swim served as a symbolic cleanse of stress, leaving everyone recharged and ready to return to work with lighter hearts and tighter bonds.
11:00 AM – Group Photo and Farewell
Before packing up, the whole group gathered for an official group photo—with the sea as a backdrop, banners waving in the wind, and smiles that told a thousand stories. One last chant of “InstallersPH, Stronger Together!” echoed through Isla Estan before the team began to board the vans.
1:00 PM – Journey Home
The trip back to Cebu City was filled with calm and contentment. Though physically tired, everyone carried a renewed spirit. Some slept, others shared photos, while a few couldn’t stop laughing over inside jokes now etched into InstallersPH’s collective memory.
