CCTV Support at Mayari Animal Rescue Organization.

Site Inspection Video.

Introduction.

Reliable CCTV surveillance is essential for maintaining safety, monitoring daily operations, and protecting both people and property. At MARO Mayari Animal Rescue, the CCTV system plays an important role in helping staff oversee the facility, monitor activity around the property, and ensure the welfare of rescued animals. When the system began experiencing issues, our technical team conducted an on-site troubleshooting visit to identify the cause of the malfunction and restore full functionality.

The service visit took place from 11:56 AM to 2:00 PM and focused on diagnosing the monitor issue, testing the connected cameras, and implementing preventive measures to improve the reliability of the installation within the animal rescue environment.

Initial System Assessment.

Upon arrival at MARO Mayari Animal Rescue, the technical team immediately began inspecting the CCTV setup. The first issue identified was that the monitor connected to the surveillance system was not displaying any video output. Without an active display, the staff could not monitor live footage or review recordings from the cameras.

The team started by checking the monitor’s power supply, video connections, and interface settings. System components were inspected to confirm that they were properly connected and receiving power. These initial steps helped rule out basic connection and display problems before moving on to a more detailed investigation of the CCTV system.

Camera Inspection and Diagnostics.

After addressing the monitor issue, the team tested each CCTV camera connected to the system. The inspection revealed that eight of the nine installed cameras were functioning correctly and transmitting video without interruption. One camera, however, remained inactive and did not display footage on the monitor.

To isolate the problem, the team examined the coaxial cables associated with the affected camera. The cables were tested and replaced as part of the troubleshooting process to determine whether damaged wiring was preventing the video signal from reaching the recorder. Despite replacing the cables, the camera still failed to display an image, indicating that the issue was likely related to the camera’s power or connection point rather than the video cable itself.

On-Site Camera Troubleshooting and Repair.

The technicians then moved to the location of the non-functioning camera for a closer inspection. They examined the camera’s power supply, connectors, and surrounding hardware to identify any signs of damage or interruption.

During this inspection, the power supply cable connected to the camera was replaced. Once the new cable was installed, the system was allowed a few minutes to stabilize and reconnect. The camera successfully restored its video feed, and footage appeared on Channel 1 of the monitor, confirming that the issue had been resolved.

With the repair completed, all nine CCTV cameras were once again operational and transmitting video properly.

Preventive Measures and Cable Management.

Because MARO Mayari Animal Rescue houses numerous animals, exposed wiring can easily be disturbed or damaged. To reduce the risk of future disruptions, the team performed cable management throughout the affected areas. Cables were organized, secured, and positioned to minimize accidental interference from pets and daily activity within the facility.

This preventive step not only improves the appearance of the installation but also helps protect the wiring, maintain stable connections, and extend the lifespan of the CCTV system.

Conclusion.

The troubleshooting service visit at MARO Mayari Animal Rescue was completed successfully within the scheduled time frame. The technical team restored the monitor display, repaired the non-functioning camera by replacing its power supply cable, and ensured that all nine CCTV cameras were fully operational.

In addition, cable management improvements were implemented to help protect the system from accidental damage within the active animal rescue environment. These efforts help ensure that MARO Mayari Animal Rescue can continue to rely on a secure and effective surveillance system that supports the safety of its staff, visitors, facilities, and rescued animals.
