CCTV Site Inspection at a Residence in Brgy. Gabi.

Introduction.

On February 26, 2026, our technical team conducted a detailed site inspection at a residential property in Barangay Gabi, Cordova, Lapu-Lapu City for the proposed installation of a wireless CCTV system. The primary objective of the visit was to assess the property’s suitability and develop a system layout aligned with the client’s preference for a fully wireless surveillance setup. The homeowner specifically requested a wireless solution to avoid extensive cabling, maintain the aesthetic appearance of the house, and ensure a cleaner and more organized installation.

Client’s Preference and Initial Coordination.

Upon arrival at approximately 10:05 AM, we coordinated with the homeowner to better understand their security concerns and expectations. The client clearly expressed a preference for a wireless CCTV system due to its flexibility, minimal structural modification, and ease of maintenance. They also emphasized the importance of having a system that allows remote viewing through a mobile phone, enabling them to monitor their property anytime and anywhere.

The client highlighted key areas they wanted to be secured, particularly the main entrance, gate area, side pathway, and backyard. These locations were identified as priority monitoring zones to ensure that all possible access points to the property would be covered.

Site Inspection and Technical Assessment.

At around 10:08 AM, we began a thorough inspection of both exterior and interior sections of the residence. Strategic camera mounting positions were identified based on the client’s security priorities and the goal of minimizing blind spots. Proper height and viewing angles were carefully considered to achieve clear and wide coverage.

Since the system will operate wirelessly, we evaluated the strength and consistency of the existing Wi-Fi connection in all proposed camera locations. Stable internet connectivity is essential for uninterrupted video transmission and remote access. Signal tests confirmed that the areas identified for installation can support reliable camera performance.

We also checked the availability of nearby power outlets, as wireless cameras still require a stable power source. Suitable mounting areas were determined to ensure both strong signal reception and neat cable management. Additionally, we assessed a secure and well-ventilated location for the Network Video Recorder (NVR) to protect the device and maintain efficient operation.

Conclusion.

At approximately 10:20 AM, we discussed our recommendations with the homeowner. Based on the property layout and the client’s preferences, we proposed the appropriate number of wireless cameras, ideal storage capacity, and essential features such as night vision, motion detection alerts, and mobile application access for real-time monitoring.

The inspection concluded at around 10:45 AM, and the residence was confirmed suitable for wireless CCTV installation. All technical requirements were met, and the client’s preference for a wireless system can be effectively accommodated.

The gathered data will be used to finalize system preparation and schedule the installation. With proper planning and execution, the wireless CCTV system will provide reliable, convenient, and efficient security coverage tailored to the homeowner’s specific needs.
