CCTV Site Inspection at Monster BT 105.9.


Introduction.


On February 16, 2026 (Monday), the technical team from InstallersPH IT Solutions conducted a scheduled CCTV site inspection at Monster BT 105.9, situated in East Aurora Tower Condominium No. 3 on M.L. Quezon Street in Kasambagan, Cebu City. The inspection was carried out to evaluate the condition of the existing CCTV system and identify any technical issues that could affect its performance. CCTV systems serve as a critical component in securing business premises, especially for media organizations and offices handling valuable equipment and sensitive operations.

Arrival and Initial Assessment.

The inspection team arrived at the site promptly at 10:22 AM and immediately coordinated with the on-site staff to gain access to the surveillance system and its components. During the initial assessment, the team evaluated the operational status of each camera, examined their physical placement, and reviewed the overall functionality of the system. This early evaluation aimed to identify any visible issues and determine which components required further, more detailed inspection.

Findings During the CCTV Inspection.

During the detailed walkthrough, it was found that two CCTV cameras were not performing as expected. These units exhibited irregularities that could stem from improper wiring, misalignment, or system configuration issues. Further inspection revealed that the type of CCTV video recorder being used was a DVR (Digital Video Recorder), which indicates that the system is operating on analog CCTV cameras. With this type of setup, the most common causes of the issue are either faulty coaxial cables or problems with the power supply connected to the cameras.

Since DVR-based systems rely heavily on stable cable connections and consistent power delivery, any damage or degradation in the coaxial cord can result in loss of video signal, poor image quality, or complete camera failure. Similarly, unstable or insufficient power supply can prevent the cameras from functioning properly. These factors were identified as the primary technical possibilities contributing to the camera issues observed during the inspection.

Documentation and Reporting Process.


A designated member of the team handled the documentation of the inspection activities. This process included recording detailed observations regarding the condition of the cameras, the layout of the system, and potential areas in need of improvement. Thorough documentation is essential in technical projects because it serves as a reference for planning repairs or upgrades, ensures transparency between service provider and client, and supports accurate future decision-making.

Coordination and Proposal Preparation.

Before departing the site, the team communicated the initial findings with the client representative present at the location. The representative was informed that a formal proposal would be prepared to specify the issues identified, outline recommended solutions, and detail the scope of work needed to address the technical concerns. This proposal will be presented to the client for review and approval before any corrective action is undertaken.

Conclusion.

The inspection concluded at approximately 10:30 AM, marking a concise yet productive site visit. While the assessment revealed issues with two cameras, the process successfully provided a clear snapshot of the system’s current condition. With proper evaluation, documentation, and client communication, InstallersPH IT Solutions established a solid foundation for the next phase of the project. Upon approval of the proposal, the necessary technical work can be implemented to restore full functionality and enhance the CCTV system, ensuring reliable monitoring and continued security for the Monster BT 105.9 premises.
